關於竹筍作為有機肥料的資材

這是一篇提到利用竹筍作為有機肥料資材的文章。

Overview

Bamboo is a rapidly growing grass that continually produces new growth and new shoots. Growing 24 to 36 inches every 24 hours, it is the fastest growing plant on earth. The bamboo’s rapidly growing root system requires no fertilizer or other chemical assistance for successful growth. The entire bamboo, including its shoots, is eco-friendly and provides an array of benefits to its environment.

Antibacterial

Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. The shoots’ natural elements prevent and reduce outbreaks of plant and tree illness. Prepared shoots can be incorporated into the soil of the tree or plant to promote disease resistance. The prepared shoots can also be combined with mulch to assist with cold climate protection during winter months.

Soil Improvement

Bamboo shoots naturally improve the soil and reduce the potential of soil erosion. The soil is improved by the bamboo’s high level of gas production and circulation. It can produce five times more carbon dioxide and 35 percent more oxygen than most trees. In turn, bamboo absorbs two-thirds more carbon dioxide and releases more than two-thirds more oxygen. The shoots can be grown adjacent to the area needing fertilizer applications or they can be cut-up and lightly spread throughout the area. When used as a fertilizer, it helps soil to retain more water, becoming more oxygenated and chemically balanced.

Potassium

Bamboo shoots are an excellent source of potassium. Potassium is required for plant growth and is an important fertilizer ingredient. This element promotes a healthy root system, strong growth and water retention. Bamboo shoot fertilizer is a fertilizer made primarily of bamboo shoots and nitrogen. It also provides a naturally superior combination of potassium, along with its antifungal and antibacterial elements. This fertilizer is spread throughout the planting area and integrated thoroughly into the soil.

Soil Enhancement

Bamboo can be grown near plants and trees to provide natural soil enhancement and fertilizing services. However, it is a voracious feeder that can quickly deplete the soil’s moisture. Avoid planting bamboo within 50 feet of your plant. This will ensure that the plant receives the bamboo’s fertilizing benefits without being robbed of its nutrients.

pH Levels

Bamboo charcoal fertilizer promotes the continuous supply of rhizosphere soil and soil pH levels. Research by the Tokai University’s Hoshi Lab indicates that trees fertilized with crushed bamboo charcoal tend to grow 20 percent higher with 40 percent more volume than ones that are not.
