A powerful king, ruler of many domains, was in a position of such magnificence that wise men were his mere employees. And yet one day he felt himself confused and called the sages to him.
Said “I do not know the cause, but something impels me to seek a certain ring, one that will enable me to stabilize my state.
“I must have such a ring. And this ring must be one which, when I am unhappy, will make me joyful. At the same time, if I am happy and look upon it, I must be made sad.”

— Sufi Stories, told by Idries Shah
Once, some of my colleagues, good friends and excellent partners, will shift to the other department (ITRI College) in October. Recently, I started to miss those days we could work together.
It’s just like you once were empty but you got something precious later and then you should give it up finally. Sometimes, the feeling is not well. This kind of emotion alwaye remind me this old story I have kept it in mind more than 10 years. It is from “The Way of the Sufi”, the book of Afghan writer Idries Shah (1924-1996).
Is it a good story? I think you all will agree. It’s life.
In the future, if you encounter the same state, but you are the one will leave . You may be sorry for this kind of separation, too. I share an extra short words with you. It is my brother’s wise saw when he quitted form the Communiversity Foundation. He said “I’m not leaving, I’m just rejoining in the other way and role”.
