歐洲農民組合

「歐洲農民組合」主要主張如下：

1. 承認農民勞動的價值，農業的生產必須是其收入的主要來源。
2. 堅持可持續發展的生產方式，尊重環境，重視農產品的品質和安全。
3. 自主掌握生產過程。
4. 公共部門的補助必須公平地分配到各個不同的生產類別和區域。
5. 與亞、拉、非和中歐的農民要建立緊密的團結關係。
6. 拒絕國際貿易中任何傾銷的行為。

農民之路

「農民之路」的聯盟成員分屬五十六個國家，跨越拉美、非、亞、歐。其綱領大致是：

1. 捍衛糧食主權，反對世貿組織以及跨國農糧企業壟斷性的、純粹市場導向的產銷模式。
2. 堅持生物多樣性，抗拒轉基因作物。
3. 農民的農業，而不是商人企業主的農業。
4. 尊重農民團體和鄉村組織的權利。
5. 平等取得土地、水和種子等生產工具的權利。
6. 承認婦女在農業生產過程以及知識傳承的特殊角色，積極推動兩性平權。

Current global modes of production, consumption and trade have caused massive environmental destruction including global warming that is putting at risk our planet’s ecosystems and pushing human communities into disasters. Global warming shows the effects of a development model based on capital concentration, high fossil energy consumption, overproduction, consumerism and trade liberalization. Global warming has been taking place for decades, but most governments have refused to deal with its roots and causes. It has been only recently, once transnational coporations have been able to set up huge money-making schemes, that we hear about possible solutions designed and controlled by big companies, and backed up by governemnts. Farmers - men and women - around the world are joining hands with other social movements, organizations, people and communities to ask for and to develop radical social, economic and political transformations to reverse the current trend.[Read more]
